GSC Game World confirms that the Russians are still attacking the development of STALKER 2
Through a publication on its official Twitter account, GSC Game World reported that the leak of the preliminary versions and prototypes of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is real but it was not an internal error as the first analyzes indicated. According to the study, it is a new offensive by the Russian hacker group that has attacked the project since the start of the war, a year and a half, but this time it involves more information available on the network than was stolen in a first occasion.

According to the study, Russian hackers have successfully exploited a vulnerability in their security system, making them a constant threat. It should be remembered that the development of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been impacted by the war between Russia and Ukraine and GSC Game World is not in a position to address these types of issues as they are practically surviving in the face of the situation.
On the other hand, the study of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl asked fans not to share any leaked content in addition to ensuring that these are not playable versions due to encryption, however the objective is to prevent Russian hackers from doing more damage to the project.
