Nintendo Switch users who are fans of Star Wars received some bad news this week. Aspyr Media announced that the port of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords will be without the long-promised DLC, as it was cancelled.
The studio knows that the news is disappointing for many, so it decided to reward the affected players. So users who meet a condition will be able to get a free Star Wars game for Switch or PC.

Star Wars: KOTOR II is left without DLC on Switch
“Unfortunately, we are announcing today that the restored content DLC for the Nintendo Switch version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords will not advance for release,” Aspyr revealed.
Many fans were disappointed by the news, as the restored content was important to their experience. The DLC was going to add some cut items and fix various bugs. So the community regretted Aspyr’s decision.
So that affected fans are not so upset, the studio will be giving away copies of various Star Wars games. Switch users who purchased Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords prior to this announcement will be able to get one of the following games for free:

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Star Wars: Republic Commando
Star Wars: Episode I Racer
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II para PC
If you meet this condition and you already know which game you want as a reward, all you have to do is visit Aspyr’s support site and submit proof that you actually purchased Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords for Switch before January 2. June.
