With the holidays just around the corner, at ‘Y ahora Sonsoles’ we have verified that this year, traveling to the Caribbean is going to be cheaper than staying in Spain.
When making the comparison between different destinations, we have realized that the prices vary even in thousands of euros.
For example, a trip for two people with a plane, all-inclusive hotel and travel insurance costs around 3,000 euros if it is to the Riviera Maya, and just over 2,000 to Punta Cana.
Meanwhile, one to Tarifa, with the same conditions, also costs almost 3 thousand and to the islands it exceeds 4 thousand.
In order to lower the prices of the holidays, we have given some advice to take into account when booking.
The first of them is to book the trip in advance. The recommended one is 6 or 7 weeks before for short-distance trips, and 5 or 7 months for longer ones.
Also, buy tickets on a Monday or Tuesday better than any other day of the week, and do it at three in the afternoon.
Another trick is to go to the official pages of the airlines and hotels because sometimes they are much lower there.
And finally, do not get carried away by phrases like “there is only one room left at this price” because they are usually false. It is a technique so that we believe that it is going to end and we make the reservation more quickly.
