After a few months of absence, The Day Before returns with a strange (although spectacular) trailer. FNTASTIC emphasizes the date of November 10.
We still have many doubts about The Day Before, the post-apocalyptic MMO that is very reminiscent of The Last of Us or The Division, among other titles. The study in charge of its development is FNTASTICwhile MYTONA is the publisher of the game.
The Day Before it looked brutal, and many were optimistic about its release in March of this year. However, the game was pulled from Steam due to a name licensing issue.
That’s when the doubts arose. In April, FNTASTIC assured that the title would be back on Steam soon… and they still haven’t followed through on that. There is also no news about the announced beta.
Although it is not as thorny a case as Abandoned or PC Soccer 2024, The Day Before has left us quite cold with each gameplay or trailer. Sometimes due to the lack of details, the recycling of assets or the style of play, and other times due to its “strange” elements.
For example, the last trailer looked more like Snowrunner than a post-apocalyptic MMO. And we still remember that video focused on the ”spa”.
A racing car, the new bomb of The Day Before
By surprise, FNTASTIC has published a new trailer for its MMO, through its YouTube channel. it just lasts 36 secondsalthough there are many things to be rescued from it.
To begin with, it is emphasized again that The Day Before is a development of FNTASTIC, with the publisher MYTONA as its distributor.
The new trailer shows the protagonist? driving a luxury car, as if we were in a Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport, while drifting through the desolate streets of the city. In that sense, she reminds us of Mad Max or I am Legend.
There is not much else to highlight from the trailer. Perhaps the tagline ”Get ready for the greatest survival experience of the year”, along with the title of the video, ”Survive the apocalypse with speed”.
In the final scene of the video, the official art of The Day Before is shown, along with the release date: November 10, 2023. Once again, it seems that it is the definitive date.
Initially, The Day Before will be released first for PC, while the versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S will arrive later. Everything points to that we will not see it on consoles until 2024.
We assume that the beta of The Day Before it will be released this summer, or maybe in september/october, before launch. FNTASTIC confirms that it won’t be coming out in Early Access, but they will be releasing regular updates for the first few months.
