The official site of The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! (with two exclamation points), the second anime based on the light novel The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! di Satoshi Wagahara, started streaming the second promotional video of the sequel Wednesday. The video previews the acronyms of the new anime, also announces three new cast members and its premiere on July 13th.
The newly announced cast members are:
Tomokazu Sugita in the role of FarfarelloMegumi Han in the role of HeroChikahiro Kobayashi in the role of Camael
The anime previously revealed that too Madoka Asahina will join the cast as Acieth Alla. Singer Liyu performs the ending theme song “bloomin’” e nano.RIPE performs the initial signature “Hikari no Nai Machi” (A city without lights). The sequel will premiere on July 13 on the channels TOKYO MX and BS11 at 11.30pm (4.30pm CEST). It will also be streamed exclusively in Japan on Disney+ Star on 13 July at 11.30pm.
The staff title the sequel series as “Season Two”, but that’s only in reference to The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! (with two exclamation marks) (as opposed to the first anime series The Devil Is Part-Timer!, which has only one exclamation mark). The upcoming July series will be the third overall anime season for the franchise.
Daisuke Tsukushi (Isekai Cheat Magician, Girl Friend Note) e Studio 3Hz they replaced Naoto Hosoda e White Fox in the new season. Masahiro Yokotani, Ryosuke Nakanishi, Akemi Tejima (Wish), Jin Aketagawa e Lantis they returned as series script supervisor, music composer, color key artist, and music production company, respectively. The character designer Bad Yudai and the chief animation director Yoshihiro Takeda they replaced Atsushi Ikariya, who filled both roles in the first season.
Wagahara launched the light novels with illustrations by 029 in 2011. The manga adaptation of Hiiragi was launched in the magazine Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh of Kadokawa in December 2011. Kurone Mishima drew another spin-off manga called Hataraku Maou-sama!! High School! in the magazine Dengeki Maoh Of Kadokawa dal 2012 al 2015.
