Superbike: Alvaro Bautista and Ducati dominate race-1 at Misano
Fans in jubilation at Misano Adriatico for the one-two for the Ducatis of Alvaro Bautista and Michael Ruben Rinaldi. In race-1 of the fifth stage of the Superbike World Championship, the 38-year-old Spanish reigning world champion made a gap ahead of the 27-year-old from Rimini by more than five seconds.
Third at almost 9 seconds the Turkish Yamaha champion in 2021 Toprak Razgatlioglu, fourth another Ducati, that of Axel Bassani of the Motocorsa Racing team, fifth the Northern Irish six-time Kawasaki world champion Jonathan Rea.
