The actor who plays Mike has assured that the last season will serve to clarify many doubts about the universe of the Duffer brothers.
After having been accompanying Will and his friends for more than eight years, Stranger Things is going to end its time on Netflix with its fifth and final season, which will be released sometime in 2024. And it seems that the Duffer brothers are finally going to answer many of the questions from fans of the Hawkins story.
Or at least that is what the actor Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike in the series, says in an interview with Collider in which, of course, he did not want to reveal anything about what will be the last season of the Netflix series. “I think it’s going to answer a lot of questions about the Stranger Things universe.”
“I think a lot of people are going to be very happy with the last season.Because we wanted to go back to the roots, what made this series so special in the first place, and why the dynamics are so special. It’s going to be very exciting,” admitted the actor, who also acknowledges that he’s going to be very sorry for the end of Stranger Things.
“I think it’s going to be a very sad ending, but at the same time I’m very excited, as a fan, to go back and see what happens. The truth is that I still don’t know how the plot is going to end but I am very excited to be able to return for the last time,” acknowledged Wolfhard, who has just made his debut as a member of the PlayStation Playmakers.
The question that Stranger Things has to answer
Although throughout the four seasons of Stanger Things have left many open plots and many unanswered questions, The most important of all is, without a doubt, how the Upside Down World has been created, which has given its protagonists so many headaches.
A question that, very likely, will generate an answer that is not going to like it too much to the fans, but hey, you always have to trust the Duffer brothers who have been able to entertain us for more than six years with Stranger Things.
