The now former coach of the Italian champions on Radio Kiss Kiss: “I would like to see a party like yesterday’s again. Ownership and managers know what to do”
“May Diego protect us”. Luciano Spalletti concludes with this invocation the interview he granted to Radio Kiss Kiss, the club’s official broadcaster.
An unequivocal sign of how much Naples has entered into him. “Evenings like yesterday repay all the sacrifices. I would like to be able to pass on to everyone the affection and love that was given to me, hoping one day to see a party like this again. I perceived the feeling of the Neapolitans towards me, I feel it when I meet tides of children who want to hug me and take a picture with me” explained the coach, who after winning the Scudetto in his second year with the Azzurri is preparing to leave the team. “They are good guys and sensitive people, I felt like family and that made the difference. I hope the euphoria and happiness last as long as possible.”

The coach also focused on the future of Napoli. “In my opinion, a cycle can be opened, the squad is very strong and the club is equally strong. There are competent figures who work there, a fantastic group of guys, the basis and substance of a city built to love football: there are all the components,” he continued. Spalletti therefore recognized the goodness of his work. “My legacy is an easy situation where I can work, even if football is serious and difficult stuff. The owners and managers will know what to do.” The conclusion is the most obvious one. “Go Napoli forever”.
