SEMARANG VOICE – Vietnam’s top footballers may soon have careers in Indonesia, and this should be of concern to National Team coach Shin Tae Yong.
After the Indonesian national team made good progress with Shin Tae Yong, competition in Indonesia began to be in the spotlight of football observers, including in Vietnam.
Even the Vietnamese players were advised to take the opportunity to play in Indonesia and the name Shin Tae Yong could not be separated from the spotlight.
The name Shin Tae Yong is indeed quite well known in Vietnam, one of which is because of his “feud” with Park Hang Seo in international matches.

So that the name Shin Tae Yong also had the effect of introducing Indonesian football in Vietnam.
It is Vu Manh Hai, one of the Vietnamese football experts who is said to have suggested The Golden Stars players go to Indonesia and this is being widely discussed on social media, one of which is Instagram @gondesfootball.
At first he said that Indonesia’s competition was far below Vietnam and it was a fact that Indonesia’s league ranking was below its neighboring country.
Currently, the ranking of the Indonesian League is at number 26 in Asia, far below the Malaysian, Thai or Vietnamese Leagues.
However, there is something interesting about the Indonesian league compared to the league in its neighboring country, namely the much higher salary.

It is well known that there are many “imported” players who want to play in the Indonesian league because of the large salary they receive.
In fact, it’s not just player salaries, the salary of match officials such as referees in the Indonesian league is higher than that of competition in neighboring countries.
The main referee in the Indonesian League gets paid Rp. 10 million every time he officiates a match. Meanwhile in Malaysia, the main referee only gets IDR 1.45 million.
In contrast to Thailand, they only set Rp. 4.5 million per match and in Vietnam Rp. 5 million per match.
So he suggested that Vietnamese players could take the opportunity to play in Indonesia because of the high fees.
On the other hand, if later many Vietnamese players enter Indonesia, it can be said that this cannot be separated from the role of National Team coach Shin Tae Yong.
The reason is, Shin Tae Yong was able to increase Indonesia’s ranking in FIFA and build the foundation for the national team.
Shin Tae Yong also encourages more competitive Indonesian competition so that potential young players emerge in the future.
The achievements of the Indonesian National Team when defeating Vietnam were also mentioned as Shin Tae Yong’s role in providing a strong foundation for the long term Garuda Troops. ***
