The sequel to Gladiator has already started filming in Morocco, but an accident during the filming of an action sequence has claimed several victims, although none fatal.
Gladiator 2 is becoming more and more real, with the film crew already on the set of shooting beginning to record the first scenes. However, in recent days, there has been an accident that affected six people during production.
It happened on June 7, on the set of Moroccowhile filming one of the many stunt scenes we’ll see in the Gladiator sequel. Paramount Picturesthe film’s producer, has issued a statement explaining the situation shortly after the accident.

“During filming a stunt sequence on the set of the sequel of Gladiatorthere was an accident in which several members of the team suffered injuries that were not life-threatening,” they clarified from Paramount Pictures.
“The security and medical services teams present on the scene they were able to act quickly so that those affected immediately receive the necessary care. All are stable and continue to receive treatment,” they added in their statement.
During the filming of that action sequence, which took place at the end of the day of shooting, there were a total of six people injured: four of them are still in the hospitaland the other two were treated on set and released.
According to some people involved in the production of Gladiator 2all injured people were affected and they had to be treated for burns.
“The well-being of the cast and crew is of the utmost importance to us, and we have strict health and safety procedures in all our productions. We will continue to monitor the situation and take all the necessary precautions while we resume production,” they concluded from Paramount Pictures, before continuing with the filming of Gladiator 2 in Morocco.
