Alvaro Bautista fa l’en plein a Misano
Alvaro Bautista and the Ducati triumphantly concluded a weekend of Sbk at Misano which gave nothing but joy to the Spanish rider, reigning world champion, and to the Borgo Panigale Ducati.
In fact, Bautista won the Superpole Race and race-2 of the Emilia-Romagna Round on Sunday, after winning Superpole and success in race-1 on Saturday. Therefore, only crumbs were left for the adversaries: Toprak Razgatliolgu (Yamaha) finished in second place in race-2, more than 8″ behind the winner, while Axel Bassani conquered a brilliant third place on the Motocorsa Racing Ducati Panigale V4R.
Bautista in an excellent position to aim for his second consecutive Sbk title: the Spaniard has won 10 races out of 10 and 4 Superpole Races out of 5 so far: the only exception is that of Mandalika, who did not see him reach the finish line due to a crash . At the end of the championship there are still seven weekends left, we will have to wait for the math.
