“I fell at the curve of the oak. I was struggling with the front for the whole race, but in the final stages I felt a little more at ease and I even entered that corner slightly slower than in the previous laps. Unfortunately the rear wheel pushed on the front one and I crashed. It’s a shame because today I was not far from Toprak and fourth position was still absolutely within our reach.”
“I’m very sorry because It is not possible that as soon as I relax for a moment the bike no longer responds as I would like and creates these problems for me. In Superpole I felt at ease and in the race I followed Razgatlioglu. He kept completely different trajectories to those of the Ducati riders, but I was still close to him.”
“We certainly still have some set up problems, which prevent us from achieving good results. I’m very disappointed because many came to support me and I was having a good race, close to Toprak and maybe I could have even gotten on the podium, but unfortunately it went badly and because of that I apologize to all our fans”.
