The story is a romantic comedy that presents the life of the brothers Lily (Emeraude Toubia) and Jorge Diaz (Mark Indelicato) and their family. Lily remains focused on building her makeup business, while Jorge isn’t sure he and his partner Henry (Vincent Rodriguez III) are compatible. And you can see it from this June 2.
“I am not used to seeing romantic comedies that represent this level of diversity, inclusion and joy; we are used to the fact that in most programs there are stereotypes towards Latinos, they are gang members or they sell drugs, but our show focuses on a Latino family that She’s rich and she has her own restaurant and healthy relationships and that’s real,” Vincent Rodriguez explained in an interview.

“We really focus on the joy and love that exists between these groups in the world, it’s just that we don’t see it represented often enough. The show It’s a true celebration of accepting each other. and be a community and love each other and we need that right now,” he adds.
Vincent Rodriguez points out that thanks to the queer representation that “With love” has, one of them through the couple that he embodies on screen with Mark, they want to be for the public like a hug that they take through the screen.
On his efforts to break stereotypes, Mark adds:
“There’s not one way to represent a gay man, right? Or a Latino or a woman. So I think the more versions of representation we see, we can get a cleaner look at someone’s culture, their identity,” comments Mark.
“There’s never enough space to show the different versions of identity and it’s a conversation that is now taking place, something that is happening.”
