GARUT VOICE – Payment of ASN PPPK salaries for the 2022 formation, later regulated in Minister of Finance Regulation Number 212/PMK.07/2022 concerning Regional Performance Level Indicators and General Provisions for the General Allocation Fund (DAU) Section which determines its use for the 2023 Fiscal Year.
The DAU is part of transfers to the regions from APBN funds to reduce disparities in financial capacity and public services between regions.
It is contained in article 2 of PMK Number 212/PMK.07/20222, the part of the DAU that is determined to be used is one of the PPPK formation payrolls.
Meanwhile, the provisions for the DAU portion that are determined for use for the payroll of PPPK formations are based on the number of formations, basic salary and attached allowances, up to the number of months of payment of PPPK salaries.

In Article 5, it is explained that DAU funding for the payment of PPPK salaries is for the basic salary and benefits attached to the 2022 and 2023 formations which are appointed in 2023 in accordance with applicable laws.
In Article 2023, the regional government budgets expenditure for the portion of the DAU that is determined to be used for recitation of the PPPK formation, in the 2023 budget year APBD with the provisions of laws and regulations.
PMK Number 212/PMK.07/2022 which was stipulated in Jakarta on 27 December 2022 was signed by the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
With the issuance of PMK 212, the central government has actually provided a budget for PPPK 2022 including THR financing, and the 13th salary.
However, even though this has been made available, the next issue is related to whether the DAU has been transferred to the regional budget or not.

Until now, discussions regarding PPPK salaries for 2022 are still a mystery.
Moreover, in the TMT field, the average PPPK teacher is not assigned as of April, but through May, it could even be June or July 2023.
Even so, ASN PPPK teachers of the 2022 formation, don’t panic just yet, for sure the salaries and allowances will be paid.
What needs to be questioned is precisely what will happen next, whether the central government still guarantees the salaries of PPPK teachers through the DAU, or on the contrary it will become a pure burden on the APBD.
