Recent leaks have strongly suggested that Atlus is getting ready to make a couple of big Persona-related announcements at the next one Xbox Games Showcase, and it seems that this will indeed happen. It has been rumored for some time a remake of Persona 3 and Atlus seems to have accidentally loaded the its reveal trailer ahead on his official Instagram page. True to recent leaks, the remake is called Persona 3 Reload.
The announcement trailer shows glimpses of the updated footage, improved graphics, some fights and dungeons, some side activities and more. Xbox marketing also makes it abundantly clear that the game will be officially announced at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11th. According to the trailer, Persona 3 Reload will be released in early 2024 and it was built using the Unreal Engine (which is unusual for Persona), with Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One e PC mentioned as the available platforms. In addition, the game will also be available via Game Pass at launch. Presumably, the title will also launch for PS5 and PS4, although it remains to be seen if Switch players will get access as well. Also on the company’s Instagram page, the presentation trailer of another upcoming tactical turn-based RPG, entitled Persona 5 Tactica, also appeared.
