Blasphemous 2, the new game from Seville’s The Game Kitchen, has just surprised us with a new trailer and the announcement of its release date.
The Game Kitchenthe studio responsible for Blasphemous, has gone ahead of the Summer Game Fest and has left us with a Blasphemous 2 new trailerthe long-awaited sequel for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
This new trailer welcomes the Son of Miracle, the mysterious figure that emerges from the beating heart that rests in the heavens. You can see it below:
To give a good account of this new threat? the Griever is back and still just as pissed off: the new trailer for Blasphemous 2 gives us a look at some of the new and brutal executions that we will be able to carry out in the sequel.
The trailer also gives us a brief look at the new weapons (the Censer of War, the Rapier and Dagger, and the Sword of Prayer), the new enemies, and the new stages of this sequel, as well as the video scenes with which the story will be narrated or the wonderful pixel-art that returns to illustrate the sequel.
But perhaps more important than the trailer has been the announcement, finally, of the release date: Blasphemous 2 will be available on August 24 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. A summer of penance awaits us.
We also remind you that a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to test Blasphemous 2, in Seville, and talk to its managers. If you want to know what we thought, take a look at our impressions of Blasphemous 2.
