Secretary General of the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP), Hasto Kristiyanto, opened his voice regarding the surprise direction of support from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
It is known that the number one person in the government believes that the figure who will change the fate of the homeland is Ganjar Pranowo. This went viral through a video circulating on social media.
Hasto himself confirmed that the president had provided his support for the cadre of his party. He said that this was a sign that the coconut country had prepared a successor.
“Yes, that’s very true, in fact all the applause, because President Jokowi’s statement shows he is preparing his successor, he said during a press conference on the sidelines of the third day of the PDIP National Working Meeting III at the Lenteng Agung Party School, Jakarta, Thursday (8/6/ 2023).

He brought up a number of characteristics of successors that had been revealed by Jokowi. All of these characteristics eventually led to the figure of Ganjar.
“(The characteristics mentioned by Jokowi) Starting from white hair, wrinkled face, having courage, then very good political communication. So we just have to move together (to win the Ganjar),” he said.
This politician also said that the signaling of a successor was evidence of continuity in the leadership of the PDIP. This is for the progress of Indonesia.
