Paradox Interactive shares a new video of Life by You, its new simulation game that will compete with The Sims, and they explain how to build a house.
Life by Youthe new life simulation game that emulates The Sims, and wants to win over players dissatisfied with Maxis’ gameplay, comes out in Early Access form on September 12.
While we wait, publisher Paradox Entertainment and developer Paradox Tectonic are sharing plenty of Life by You videos on their YouTube channel, giving you a closer look at how the game is coming together.
In their latest video they show how the House constructionwhich will be something different than what you may be used to in The Sims.
How to build houses in Life by You
The video, 6 minutes long, shows the house building tools. Yes, the way you place walls and floors is a lot like The Sims, but this tool will be very flexible and will allow you to move and rotate the entire building with a lot of flexibility.
If it seems to you that it is very bare, in this other video they show how they decorate the walls with different colors and materials.
Life by You will also facilitate the installation of mods so that the community can create, from day one, new possibilities to build and decorate houses. And it will not stop there, they have also advanced that it will be possible even customize the whole townwhich we can explore driving in an open worldwithout loading times when entering or leaving facilities.
Behind Life by You is Rod Humbleleading the team of Paradox Tectonica former producer of The Sims, who worked on expansions for The Sims 2 and then The Sims 3.
Remember, Life by You will be out on september 12 will launch (in Early Access) on PC, on Steam and the Epic Games Store, well ahead of Project Rene (ie. the sims 5).
