Special TV is a collaboration between Care Institution Aveleijn, TV producer Patchanka Productions, the regional broadcaster of Overijssel RTV Oost and the foundation that will continue the legacy of the Special Olympics Twente, Special Sport Events Twente. The program idea was developed by Willie Oosterhuis and the program is made by people with disabilities. Professional and personal guidance from these partners is guaranteed, so that the program can be made in a safe environment for the Special TV team.
