The crash took place in Alpine, between the 16th and 17th miles, in the third and final lap of the race. Raúl was an incredibly popular member of the paddock family. His smile was infectious and his love for the TT and road racing was evident to anyone lucky enough to meet him. He took part in his fifth TT today and set his fastest lap so far on the Mountain Course, finishing 20th in the Superstock race. Our deepest condolences go out to Raúl’s family, loved ones and friends.”
