Netflix has all kinds of content in its catalog, but the one that is currently trending is a crime drama, which with only three episodes is the ideal option for a marathon afternoon.
This is Criminal: Germany, a drama that premiered in 2019 and has only one season. It is part of the Criminal anthology, which was filmed in three other countries: France, Spain and the United Kingdom. The series consists of 4 parts, one in each country and each part is composed of 3 episodes. The duration of each chapter is approximately 45 minutes.
The series was managed by producers and writers George Kay and Jim Field Smith, and produced by Idiotlamp Productions. Although the production is British, each part was directed and written by directors and screenwriters from the country itself, and recorded in their native language. The peculiarity of the series is that the only location that exists is an interrogation room, there are no exteriors.

The location of the filming, of the entire series, was carried out in the Ciudad de la Tele complex, located in the city of Madrid, Spain. The official Netflix synopsis reads: “Four walls. Investigators and suspects face to face. The truth is very close, sometimes on the edge of the law, and interrogators can smell it“.
Peter Kurth as Jochen Müller, Deniz Arora as Yilmaz Yusef, Nina Hoss as Claudia Hartmann, Eva Meckbach as Nadine Keller, Sylvester Groth as Karl Schulz, Florence Kasumba as Antje Borchert, Christian Kuchenbuch as Martin Ludwig and Jonathan Berlin as Stefan Proska, are part of of the cast of this captivating miniseries.
