Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was one of the main protagonists of the inaugural broadcast of the Summer Game Fest 2023 hosted by Geoff Keighley. While fans weren’t able to enjoy a new gameplay trailer, Insomniac Games shared some new information about game editions and pre-order bonuses.
On the stage of the event, the developer studio confirmed that the new adventure of Peter Parker and Miles Morales will arrive on PS5 on October 20. In a post on the official PlayStation blog, he revealed more information about the content that will be included in the different versions of the game. And yes, he stated that there will be a collector’s edition that will include a statue.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Reveals Its Special Editions
First of all, players who pre-order the open world title will receive the Arachknight suit with 3 color variants for Peter Parker, the Shadow Spider Suit with 3 additional colors for Miles Morales, a Web Grabber and 3 skill points to redeem in the progression tree.
Insomiac Games confirmed that the standard version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will cost $69.99 USD. He then announced that the Digital Deluxe Edition will be priced at $79.99, and will include all pre-order bonuses, 10 costumes (5 for each character), extra frames and stickers for Photo Mode, and 2 additional skill points.

Lastly, the developers confirmed that the Collector’s Edition is $229.99 USD and includes all pre-order incentives, a Deluxe Edition download code, a Steelbok, and most importantly, a 19-inch figure of Venom. It is unknown if it will reach Mexico or Latin America. It’s worth noting that pre-orders for all editions will begin on Friday, June 16.

At Summer Game Fest 2023, Insomniac Games confirmed that Miles Morales and Peter Parker are playable characters and fans will be able to play each at key moments in the campaign or in the open world. In addition, he revealed that the Lizard, Kraven and Venom will be some of the villains that the arachnid duo will have to face.
