Marc Marquez at Ducati, Claudio Domenicali sends a clear message
In an interview with Sky, Ducati Corse CEO Claudio Domenicali commented on the persistent rumors of Marc Marquez joining the Borgo Panigale team starting from 2025: “I think it’s not the right thing for us, we have a group of extraordinary drivers, Pecco is a crazy, underestimated talent. He still makes some mistakes and if he hadn’t made them we’d be here complaining that the championship is monotonous. Maybe it’s a strategy to keep the show going… (ironic ed.). We don’t only have Bagnaia, but also Enea, Jorge, other young players to grow”.
“Marc Marquez is an extraordinary talent, he doesn’t have to prove anything, he’s going very fast. But Ducati draws its strength from working with its riders, with the family spirit. The results are proving us right and we will continue like this”.
