Police, customs, the tax authorities, the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT): numerous authorities were on their feet this morning during a major inspection in the port area of Hengelo. The authorities wanted to take a stand against the illegal processing of waste and undermining in the port area. Two cars were seized, 51 fines were issued and the Tax and Customs Administration collected tens of thousands of euros in outstanding bills.
