The evil Leprechaun will return for his beloved pot of gold in the remake of Leprechaun Night, a low-budget 1993 horror film.
Felipe Vargas, director of the award-winning short film Milk Teeth, will direct Leprechaun (La noche del duende), the new Lionsgate project that will feature a script by Mike Van Waes (live-action Lilo & Stitch). For now, there are no actors involved, so we will have to wait to find out the cast.

During his stay in the United States, Dan stole treasure from a vengeful goblin named Leprechaun (Warwick Davis) and brought it back to the United States. However, the goblin follows him and tries to retrieve the treasure from him.
Meanwhile, in the present, we meet Tory (Jennifer Aniston) and her family, who rent Dan O’Grady’s old house for the summer. During their stay, some young people find the goblin’s secret hiding place and accidentally release it. The goblin, an evil and cunning being, begins to terrorize the young people while he desperately searches for his treasure.
As the night progresses, the goblin displays his magical powers and ability to cause chaos and destruction. He uses his cunning and supernatural abilities to play with the minds of young people and wreak havoc on the community.
