Publisher Whitethorn Games and developers Gamious have announced Season’s Greeting, un DLC prequel di Lake which will see the light in late autumn on PC and consoles.
Set approximately eight months before the events of the original game, in Season’s Greeting we will return to Providence Oaks to take on the role of ThomasMeredith’s father. Thomas is a postman in charge of delivering mail and parcels during the festive season: during the adventure we will meet familiar faces and get to know new characters.
“We can’t wait for players to return to the world of Lake, which will look even more beautiful after being covered in snow and decorated with Christmas lights,” said creative director Jos Bouman. “As far as we know, Season’s Greetings may be the first game that doesn’t just add a visual layer to make it a ‘Christmas game’, but is built from the ground up to allow players to experience a game in the true spirit of Christmas. With the annual bombardment of themed music and movies, we think it’s about time we added a Christmas video game to the tradition!”
Lake Season’s Greetings will be available on PC and consoles in November.
