From Vlahovic to Chiesa everyone can leave: the bianconeri must collect during the summer to secure their accounts
The quota has already been set: 100. No, these are not the points that Massimiliano Allegri will have to reach in the league next season (also because it is a difficult undertaking: the only one to have succeeded so far in Serie A is Antonio Conte in 2013- 14, when he won the third Scudetto in a row at the helm of Juventus) but the figure that the Juventus club aims to collect during the summer in order to be able to secure the accounts and restart under the banner of sustainability. Maurizio Scanavino, CEO of the Lady and trusted man of the property, in the recent interview with Sky spoke of an economic situation “to be managed”, confirming that the moment is complicated. Failing to qualify for the next Champions League (achieved on the field thanks to the victory over Udinese on the last day but not for the standings due to the 10 penalty points inflicted on the black and whites by the sports justice for the capital gains affair) was a hard blow especially from the point of view of revenue: the estimated loss is around 80 million and somewhere this money will have to go back. Therefore, in parallel with the incoming operations, the new diesse Giovanni Manna (promoted by Next Gen while waiting for Cristiano Giuntoli to free himself from Naples) and the head of the sports area Francesco Calvo are working a lot on the exits.
Depends on DV9
—
In essence, few can be considered firm: no one is non-transferable and all offers, if considered reasonable, will be carefully evaluated. The possibilities are different but everything (or almost) revolves around Dusan Vlahovic: the Serbian is the most requested black and white and also the one that can be sold for the highest amount. Juventus has set the price at 80 million (the amount paid by Fiorentina a year and a half ago) but the feeling is that even for 70 they could leave. By selling DV9, the club would already be one step away from the finish line. There are currently 3 plans, 2 of which contemplate the farewell of the centre-forward.
Kulusevski in pole
—
In the first case, in addition to Vlahovic’s sacrifice, around 30 million would have to be recovered from redundancies and young players on loan. McKennie, Zakaria, Kulusevski and Arthur will come back but they won’t stop. Of all of them, the one with the most market is Kulusevski, who Tottenham won’t buy for 35 million, but is trying to renegotiate downwards (around 25 million euros). Among the young players, Ranocchia and De Winter can round off the figure.
Double waiver
—
The second scenario is the one most feared by the fans: via Vlahovic and together also Chiesa, oxygen for Juventus’ coffers, less for the technical level of the team. In fact, in this way the club would guarantee itself more than 100 million, because the 35-40 for the blue would be added to the 70 for the Serbian. On Vlahovic there are Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, Psg and Newcastle. Chiesa, on the other hand, is liked by Bayern and Liverpool, but the Bianconeri would not want to give up both of them. Plan B is the most extreme hypothesis, which can occur in the event of monstrous offers for both or if both show a desire to leave. Otherwise, we will first try to place players who do not fall within the coach’s technical project, i.e. the aforementioned McKennie, Kulusevski, Zakaria and Arthur.
Young sacrifice
—
It is not excluded that Juventus will also be forced to sacrifice one of its jewels, namely the boys from the Next Gen who stood out in the first team in the season that has just ended. Miretti is a dot of Salernitana: it is probable that the club will make an attempt, but it is said that Juventus will not be open to the sale. About 15 million could be obtained from Miretti, while Iling Junior is liked in the Premier League and is valued at 20. Also watch out for Rovella (value between 15 and 20) who will return to Turin from his loan at Monza. Allegri would like to keep him, but everything will depend on how the market develops.
