Member of Commission III of the House of Representatives from the Democratic Party faction, Benny K Harman, highlighted President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who admitted that he would hold vacancies regarding the 2024 Presidential Election for the sake of the nation and the state in a positive sense.
Benny Harman responded to this through his personal Twitter account. In his tweet, Benny Harman said that he would welcome Jokowi having a preference for the 2024 presidential election.
However, he emphasized that this was not stated in cawe-cawe.
“This is what I said before. Please just President Jokowi have a preference for the 2024 Presidential Election. Then, Benny Harman also said that the reason for his statement regarding Jokowi not to have cawes was not only unethical.
“Not only is it unethical, but this is a form of democratic crime that should not have happened in the country of Pancasila,” he said.
Benny Harman also said that let the people themselves make choices about who deserves to be their leader.
