RAMALLAH – A three-year-old boy from Palestine who was shot in the head by soldiers Israel had died on Monday. The victim was previously critical in hospital after being shot on Thursday last week.
Muhammad Haitham Al-Tamimi was shot in the town of Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah, while sitting in a car with his 40-year-old father in front of their house.
Shortly after being shot, Muhammad was flown to the Sheba hospital, Israel, by helicopter. Meanwhile, his father, who was shot in the arm, was taken to a hospital in Ramallah.
“Arrangements are being made to transfer the body of the martyr Muhammad Haitham Al-Tamimi to the Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah,” said the Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs, as quoted by Middle East Monitor, Tuesday (6/6/2023).
Muhammad’s body will be handed over to his family and tomorrow will be buried in the village cemetery.
Hamas sent its condolences to Muhammad’s family, saying: “The occupation’s continued crimes against our children, the last being Tamimi’s child, whose innocent childhood was killed by the occupation, requires the blacklisting of the Zionist entity and working to hold it accountable.” for the ongoing crimes against Palestinians.”
With Muhammad’s death, the number of Palestinian children killed by Israeli soldiers since the beginning of this year has increased to 28.
