Persona broke out of the niche and reached the masses, becoming one of the most popular and beloved JRPG franchises today. Much has been said about the announcement of an unpublished project or the remake of the third installment, and a new clue suggests that there could be news very soon.

New Persona games could be announced soon
In mid-May, the user Im a Hero Too, who has a track record of successes, announced on the ResetEra forum that a new version of Persona 3 will supposedly be announced during the Xbox Games Showcase that will take place next Sunday the 11th. of June. Now, he has reappeared and suggested that the game be called Persona 3 Reload.
On the other hand, the tipster MbKKssTBhz5 reinforced these rumors and revealed the same name. He commented that the premiere is scheduled for this summer, with a possible release window in November. In addition, he assured that the announcement will take place at the Xbox presentation, although the project will be multiplatform and will also reach PlayStation.
Regarding more franchise news, the user MbKKssTBhz5 commented that a new spin-off of the fifth installment and Persona 6 will be revealed sometime this year, although he did not disclose any further details.

This news comes shortly after ATLUS updated the “P3RE” domain name, which can clearly be interpreted as Persona 3 Remake or Persona 3 Reload.
Thanks to its sources, the Insider Gaming portal was only able to verify that the Persona 3 remake is supposedly in development. While these claims will excite devoted fans, it’s important to note that this information lacks official confirmation. So, we recommend taking it with a grain of salt.
Either way, we’re just minutes away from Summer Game Fest 2023 kicking off and just days from Xbox Games Showcase. So, we will have to wait a little to find out if the ATLUS franchise will return with new games.
