Indonesia – President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana spent their weekend in Yogyakarta on Saturday (4/6/2023). Together with their youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep and his wife, they enjoyed klotok coffee at Warung Kopi Klotok.
The Klotok Coffee Shop is located at Jalan Kaliurang KM 16, Pakem, Sleman. With a traditional concept, this shop not only serves klotok coffee, but also other traditional foods.
However, the most iconic and sought after is, of course, klotok coffee. This coffee is a traditional coffee dish by boiling water with the coffee directly over a charcoal stove.
The way to serve it is actually similar to Turkish coffee. It’s just that the coffee grounds are not as fine as Turkish coffee. Meanwhile, ground klotok coffee can come from any type, for example arabica or robusta.
