EA Sports F1 23 confirms two great signings for Spanish players. Antonio Lobato and Pedro de la Rosa become the official commentators for this installment of the driving saga.
EA Sports F1 23 arrives in full swing as a result of the good results of Fernando Alonso in the World Cup that started a few months ago. Fans dream of 33 as they await the game’s June 16 release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
And after having tested the return of the Braking Point 2 story mode and other improvements in all sections, F1 23 has confirmed another piece of news that is sure to excite fans of this motor sport.
Antonio Lobato and Pedro de la Rosa signed for this installment as the game’s commentators official of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The two veteran figures will lend their voices to set the scene for the races.
Antonio Lobato and Pedro de la Rosa in F1 23
Each one will specialize in a role within the game, just like in their actual broadcasts. Lobato will seek to make the player vibrate with his comments while Pedro de la Rosa will provide his more technical knowledge given his experience in the world of F1.
The addition of Pedro de la Rosa and Antonio Lobato as commentators in F1 23 will take the gaming experience to new levels. His passion, knowledge and charisma will bring virtual racing to life, giving players an authentic, immersive and exciting perspective on Formula 1, said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director for Codemasters.
I am very excited to be part of F1 23, accompanying Spanish players to feel like real pilots and to enter the world of Formula 1 firsthand, recognized Antonio Lobato. It’s been a few years since I commented for a video game and doing it together with Pedro, with whom we’ve been working together for so many years, is a real pleasure.
Together with Antonio, and for almost two decades now, we have lived real experiences in the world of F1, but I am proud that now I can say that those experiences are also virtual! I hope that people have as much fun with the game as I did commenting on it, added Pedro de la Rosa.
Without a doubt, this is one of the great novelties of this installment, but not the only one. Circuits like Las Vegas and Qatar, Paul Ricard, Shanghai and Portimao are added to those already available and a few adjustments are incorporated.
