A positive, fruitful, cordial meeting to lay the foundations for next season. The one that took place today at lunch between the heads of Fiorentina and Vincenzo Italiano. Constructive summit, useful for planning the next season which, barring difficult reversals at this point, will see the parties continue together. In the background remains Napoli’s interest in the coach, but also the deep respect of president De Laurentiis for Rocco Commisso made up of common esteem, friendship and battles (off the field). And so we are moving towards respecting a contract that sees the coach and club bound together until 2024 with an option in favor of the club for the following season. The exclamation point will only be put on tomorrow morning at 11 by the purple president who has called a press conference to talk about the present and the future. Tomorrow, therefore, the word will officially be put to an end to a situation that the Viola are closing in a flash. And, barring surprises, I will therefore still be the Viola coach.
