Square Enix continues to publish information dropper Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The company has talked about the characters that will accompany the protagonists in this second part of the remake.
Despite the fact that everyone is focused on the release of Final Fantasy 16 on PS5 on June 22, many other fans of the saga are looking to the horizon hoping for what it may bring. Final Fantasy VII Rebirththe second part of this reimagining of the classic.
In recent days we have had some other details about this Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, such as that the game will put the fate of each character in a “narrative chain of events.” Now, Square Enix has offered another small dose of information.
And it is that this new game is expected to allow us to meet very famous characters in Final Fantasy VII. Cait Sith, Yuffie (we have already seen it in Intergrade) and Cid are some of those faces that we would like to see, but we may have even more.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will have more companions and options
In a tweet published by the game’s own official account, Square Enix has commented that “new comrades will join you” in combat and that the players “they will cooperate with group members in even closer ways than before”.
These words correspond to Teruki Endo, the game’s combat director. Therefore, other characters may join our group… You know that during the game reveal it was hinted that maybe we could manage Sephiroth.
Additionally, cooperating in new ways could mean more combos and tactical adjustments to build synergies between characters during combat. We remember that this aspect was one of the ones that generated the most good comments in Final Fantasy VII Remake.
We can only wait for more details. Of course, everything indicates that this second part will be more ambitious and possibly more differentiated from the original material. The ending of the first game left the door open to almost anything.
