Sumatran voice – Social media was enlivened with posts depicting a PDIP billboard narrating that the party does not need the voices of Muslims.
The upload was shared by a Facebook account named Suriadin on June 1, 2023. The narrative that was distributed was as follows:
“PDI-P DOESN’T NEED THE VOICE OF ISLAMIC PEOPLE
PDI-P chairman Megawati Soekarno Putri”
Then is it true that there are PDIP billboards that say they don’t need the voices of Muslims?

EXPLANATION
Based on a search using the keyword “PDI-P billboards don’t need the voices of Muslims” it was found that this was an old hoax that was circulating again.
This is based on a fact-check article published in April 2022 on the turnbackhoax.id website.
The billboard is an edit, in which the original image was uploaded by the Turesno Aris Facebook account on 11 November 2017. The original billboard contains a narration of a wife’s message to her husband to seek halal sustenance.
CONCLUSION
Based on the explanation above, the PDIP billboard image does not need the voices of Muslims is a hoax. In fact, the original billboard image contains a wife’s message to her husband to earn a halal living and is an old hoax that is circulating again.
Thus, the PDIP billboard photo does not need the voices of Muslims to be included in the manipulated content category.
