This Saturday night, the Argentine ska band “Los Fabulosos Cadillacs” filled the plate of the capital’s Zócalo with thousands of people who waited several hours and they even got wet from the rain to see them.
The influx of people was such that the head of government Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo published a tweet in which she urged people to see the show from the surrounding streets or from their homes because there were no more seats.
“The Zócalo is at 100% capacity. We recommend those attending the Los Fabulosos Cadillacs concert to enjoy the concert on the screens we have installed in nearby streets, as well as through @Capital21,” he explained.
Despite the fact that they sang several songs that were successful in their more than 30-year career, there were several that the attendees chanted at the top of their lungs.
One was “Skulls and Devils”, which even Vicentico, the vocalist, allowed the public to chant for a few minutes and took the opportunity to thank them for their attendance.
Another melody that the thousands of people who were present made resonate in the mystical night was “Siguiendo la Luna”, which despite having been released in the nineties, is still one of the band’s hits.
On the other hand, the fans of the ska band shouted and danced with “V Centenario”, “Carnaval toda la vida”, “Mal Bicho”, “Matador” and “Vasos vacíos”. The drums resounded, the trumpets could be heard for miles, as well as the shouts of the thousands of people who seemed excited to witness the show of the legendary Argentine band.
Without a doubt, the concert will remain in the memory of many; because you could tell the happiness in the expression of the people.
