Marvel Snap will receive a competitive mode, called Conquest Mode, during the month of June 2023: this is how it works, the new rewards and how its battles work (they are the same as the Friendly Mode).
Marvel Snap will soon receive the expected competitive PvP mode, called Conquest Mode (waiting to review an official press release in Spanish for the game, we will call it Conquest Mode).
You may remember that, at the end of January, the Friendly Battle mode came out in Marvel Snap, a mode that for the first time allowed you to play with friends.
This mode, however, was a bit cumbersome, because you could only play with friends who you had to invite with a code. And, as the name suggests, being Friendly meant that you couldn’t get any in-game rewards, like tokens, credits…
That will change with Conquest Mode, which will debut during the season of June 2023. we explain what is the Conquest Mode of Marvel Snap, levels, rewards…
When does Marvel Snap Conquest Mode come out?
Conquest mode was revealed in a June 2023 Developer Update video, in which Ben Brode confirms that this mode It will be out during the June season, but not at the beginning (ie, probably in the mid-season patch, on June 20).
Remember that Marvel Snap seasons start on Tuesdays. In the case of June, tomorrow Tuesday June 6 will begin a season dedicated to the Spider-Man from the movie Crossing the Multiverse.
How Marvel Snap Conquest Mode Battles work
Marvel Snap’s Friendly Mode Battles remain identical to Conquest Mode Battles. That is, each “Battle” consists of a sequence of normal games until the opponent’s life is exhausted.
Each player starts with 10 health points. The cosmic cubes played in normal mode here are health points: If you win the game, you can remove 4 health points from him, or 8 if you Snap… unless he retreats, thus minimizing the damage received.
So that they do not go on forever, starting from game 5, the bets go up and the game starts automatically with a snap.
The four leagues of Marvel Snap Conquest Mode
Gameplay-wise, the battles are identical to the friendly mode. The difference is how they are presented, in a series of leagues, in which you need tickets to participateand in which you can get a new type of currency (Medals).
There are four leagues in Conquest Mode. If you win in one you will receive a ticket for the next, but they are increasingly difficult, and you will have to win a series of battles in a row to be able to emerge victorious. Of course, only for expert players: there will be no bots.
