SUMEDANG VOICE – Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) student named Agi Trisatya Saputra who drowned on Santolo Beach, Garut, West Java.
Based on the chronology, Agi Trisatya Saputra wants to help his friend who is carried away.
According to the Head of Garut Police Headquarters, AKP Anang Sonjaya, the victim and a number of his friends heard screams from a friend of theirs named Raya Rafli Rabani who was dragged away by the currents of the waves.
Hearing this, Agi and his friend Nadif Alghifari immediately went down to try to help Raya.

But unlucky, Agi was swept away by the waves and drowned, while Raya and Nadif managed to save themselves.
“According to the testimony of the witness, at that time the witness and his nine friends were swimming,” said AKP Anang Sonjaya.
It was said that Agi died on Friday (9/6/2023) and was found by officers unconscious.
“According to the statement of the medical officer, it is likely that the victim died on the way,” said Anang.
