He uploaded Denny Indrayana’s open letter on his Twitter account, on Wednesday (7/6/2023) morning, he asked the DPR RI leadership to start the impeachment process of President Jokowi.
The former Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights during the era of President SBY conveyed three allegations of constitutional violations committed by Jokowi.
“As initial evidence, I am writing the testimony of a national figure, who was once vice president, that President Jokowi from the start designed only two presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election, without Anies Baswedan. As initial evidence, the testimony must of course be validated for its truth,” Denny wrote. Indrayana in his tweet.

Denny also revealed that the national figure who is a former vice president received information that Anies would be tackled with a corruption case and failed to advance in the 2024 presidential election.
Because of this, Denny suggested that the DPR conduct an investigation through the right of inquiry which is guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution. He said that the right of inquiry must be carried out to investigate allegations of President Jokowi’s influence in using the Corruption Eradication Commission, the Attorney General’s Office and the National Police to ‘trail’ Anies in the 2024 election.
Furthermore, Denny wrote that the second alleged violation by Jokowi was allowing the Chief of Staff of the Presidency (KSP) Moeldoko to interfere with the sovereignty of the Democratic Party.
He suspects that the attempt to ‘boycott’ the party chaired by SBY’s son will lead to the stifling of Anies Baswedan as the 2024 presidential candidate.
“It’s impossible that President Jokowi doesn’t know, Moeldoko is chatting about disturbing the Democratic Party, most recently through a judicial review at the Supreme Court. Assuming that President Jokowi does not agree with the move by KSP Moeldoko, the President is proven to have allowed violations of political party laws that guarantee the sovereignty of every party. political parties,” said Denny in his open letter.

Jokowi’s third alleged violation is the use of power and the legal system to pressure political parties in determining the direction of the coalition of the presidential and vice-presidential pairs. Denny’s view is that indications of violations have been seen from the extension of the term of office of the KPK leadership through the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK).
