In the absence of showing us the end of the current season, production of the next one would have already begun.
The Pillars would have great prominence in the future of the series

Demon Slayer is still in the climax of its third season after several battles against the Upper Moons Gyokko and Hantengu. Far from being before the final victory and the salvation of the village, it is possible that the green light has already been given to the development of the next season of the anime.
This information comes from the Twitter account of @oecuf0, who has left some other recent clue about what the Demon Slayer anime would bring us in the future. In one of his tweets dedicated to the work of Koyoharu Gotouge, it was clear: “Not big news, but we can confirm that the next season is already in production!”
The following season would adapt more than one new arc as seen in the manga.
Readers of the manga know that one of the next arcs is not excessively long, so the fourth season would differ from the current one because it would adapt more than one arc of the manga reminding us more of the first season, which was made up of small arcs from the manga.
On the other hand, there are also clues from the same user on how to conclude the current season, with a chapter of extended duration. He announced this from his account, accompanying the information with a humorous gif, as he has done again when dropping the possibility of the new season already being produced:
It’s not huge news, but we can confirm that the next season is already in production!

Depending on when the third season closes, we would have welcome chapters directly full of action or others more focused on treating the secondary characters and the past of some of the Pillars that we have not yet been able to know in depth. It would also serve as a little break for the viewer after the intense battles we’re having against Gyokko and Hantengu in the current arc.
Given the enormous popularity that Demon Slayer has, we can count almost with complete certainty that we will have a fourth season and even a fifth, taking into account all the stories and combats that still lie ahead. And if you follow this adaptation by Ufotable, several of them could be considered authentic visual spectacles rarely seen in anime in general.
