The comic is about 14-year-old Tom who travels back in time with a time machine in 2020 and arrives in Almelo in 1783. There he meets Egbert Hofkes’ son, Lambert, who is the same age as himself. Impressed by the wall painting and the story, exciting adventures follow. Events that have an effect on the history of Almelo.
