A few weeks ago we wrote to you about the homologation applications submitted by CFMOTO for a twin-cylinder naked whose style directly refers to the 800NK which we tried in world premiere (here is our proof) while the chassis derives from the sporty 450SR sister.
In recent days, on the occasion of the Motor China show in Beijing, the Chinese company has unveiled the definitive version of the 450NK, which compared to the first leaked image presents some changes including a different coloring, a different fork and a revised tailpipe inherited from the 450SR.
As far as the technical characteristics are concerned, there are no news, with the engine confirming itself as a 449cc parallel twin, four-stroke, DOCH distribution and with 270 degree crank. The declared values are 50 HP at 9,500 rpm. and just over 39 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm. At the chassis level we find at the front a 37 mm inverted fork and a single 320 mm disc with a four-piston J.Juan radial caliper, while at the rear there is a single shock absorber with adjustable preload and a 220 mm disc.
CFMOTO declares a saddle height of 79 cm for the 450NK, which in combination with traction control, ABS and slipper clutch promises to be a safe and manageable bike even for those with little experience.
As far as its arrival in Europe is concerned, the bike will almost certainly be imported in the coming months in a weakened 48 HP version, so as to be ridable with an A2 license. However, it is still early to determine when it will be on sale and at what price.
