The third day of Cartoons on the Bay 2023 begins with a panel introduced by Robert Genoese and which he saw as the protagonist Bruno Bozzetto, who talked about the projects he’s working on. The panel in question was “Spreading Awareness Through Animation”.
We are talking about 3 short films dedicated to recounting the man-animal relationship: a relationship which according to Bozzetto continues to live on a basic imbalance and which leaves us with the question “Homo Sapiens, a pedestal destined to collapse?”
During his speech Bozzetto told himself with grace, wisdom and irony, allowing those present to peek into his world, while some sketches of his works were projected onto the screen. Finally, Bozzetto spread a message aimed at young people entering the world of drawing and animation: “have fun when you work, put your own effort, you will make beautiful things.”
