On the occasion of Cartoons on the Bay 2023, which will be held in Pescara until June 4th, we will see 2 very important awards: Studio of the Year 2023 e Lifetime Achievement Award 2023. Here’s who they will be assigned to!
The producer and legend of stop motion Ian Mackinnon will collect the prize Studio of the Year 2023 awarded to the Mackinnon & Saunders firm. Mackinnon will also be part of the international jury of the festival, which will award the Pulcinella Prizes in the various categories of the competition.
British film director and producer Peter Lord will instead receive the Lifetime Achievement Award Of Cartoons On The Bay. Peter Lord is the second Lifetime Achievement Award 2023, after the one already announced to the Israeli director and producer Ari Folman.
