As you know, Diablo IV, the latest installment of the beloved Blizzard saga, opens for everyone on June 6. And this is why the developers behind the title have been sharing with various gamer journalists, answering their questions about this release. One of them is Lauren Berg, from PCGamesN, who spoke with Diablo IV director Joe Shely and executive producer Rod Fergusson, to whom she asked a question that surely many fans have asked.
Question that has Lilith as its center, who according to Lauren, has captivated her by her beauty and her soft whispering words have seduced her, which she believes happens with many players who must be deeply in love with the Daughter of Hate. For this reason, he asked himself: “can I reach levels of extreme fanaticism and have an affair with her in Diablo IV?”

He asks what he asked Fergusson and Shely, who laughed and were confused, but who responded. According to Shely, he said that “Well… no, but what I really find fantastic about Lilith, especially, and about the Diablo IV story in general, is that the characters are much more deeply defined. Lilith is not just a character whose motivation is to kill people because she’s angry, she’s a very interesting character.”

He further adds that “one of the things we want to do with Diablo IV is continue to tell the story; we say the launch is just the beginning, so we want to flesh out the story and stay true to what we feel we’ve delivered with the launch, which is this really interesting interaction between humans and these supernatural powers.”
“By defining these powers in more human terms, we have an opportunity to have players relate to them in different ways, beyond just being an antagonist,” Shely tells PCGamesN.
And for his part, Fergusson stressed that “she is not just a villain”, adding that he will also take note “if people are interested in a Diablo dating sim, I will put it in our catalog. I’m hearing it loud and clear.”
So if you’re a fan of Lilith, perhaps this joke question will end with some kind of minigame within Diablo IV or released solo, in which you can go on a date with this popular character.
