Almost announced two years ago, Bye Sweet Carole is now shown in a first official trailer disseminated during the virtual event organized by the Guerrilla Collective.
The video game will tell the story of the young Lana Benton who, pushed by the terrifying Mr. Kyn, also known as “Old Hat”, finds herself catapulted into a mysterious enchanted garden to face menacing and disturbing creatures. After discovering several letters from a certain “French”, Lana decides to follow the last known lead of Carole Simmons, a girl of his age who apparently managed to escape from Bunny Hall, a decaying 19th-century orphanage. The building is now infested by a colony of wild rabbits capable of opening a dimensional portal to the kingdom of Corolla.
Inspired by the great classics of Disney animation, the latest effort by Chris Darril, former author of the Remothered series, is a horror-tinged adventure set in a hand-drawn fantasy universe. In Bye Sweet Carole the protagonist can turn into a rabbit to overcome the deadly obstacles and challenges that stand in his way, as he encounters a colorful cast of characters, from loyal friend Beasie to evil owl Velenia, to the terrifying Mr. Kyn,
