The former Premier admitted to the same hospital from which he was discharged on May 19 after a month and a half in hospital. He’s not in intensive care. First medical bulletin: “Scheduled tests”. Meloni’s phone call
Silvio Berlusconi was hospitalized again at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, the same facility in which he was hospitalized last April 5 (first in intensive care and then in an ordinary ward) and from which he was discharged last May 19, 45 days later. Hospitalization was made necessary due to pneumonia, a complication of the chronic myelomonocytic leukemia that has been afflicting him for some time.
Cast Q1
—
As far as we know, the leader of Forza Italia arrived at San Raffaele in the early afternoon of today, Friday 9 June, accompanied by his escort. He is in ward Q1 (the same as last hospitalised), but is not hospitalized in intensive care. This new hospitalization comes unexpectedly: for tomorrow the Forza Italia delegation to the Government was invited to Arcore for a full-time first-person resumption of the former prime minister’s political activity. The Foreign Minister, Tajani, however, specifies: “These are checks that were already absolutely foreseen, they have only been brought forward by a few days”.
Checks decided after some values emerging from routine tests have recorded anomalous peaks. Berlusconi, from what we learn, will spend the night in hospital and has already received a visit from his daughter Marina, who should have left the hospital around 6 pm in a car with tinted windows. Meanwhile, the first bulletin was issued: “President Silvio Berlusconi is currently hospitalized at the San Raffaele Hospital for scheduled tests to be carried out in relation to the well-known hematological disease”, is reported by his doctors Alberto Zangrillo and Fabio Ciceri, which specify how “the anticipation, to date, of these checks meets the clinical criteria of normal practice in medicine and is not related to any criticality or alarm”. As far as we know, tomorrow’s lunch at Arcore between Berlusconi and the Azzurri ministers seems to have been cancelled. In fact, Italian sources explain that the Knight will spend the night in hospital and for this reason the summit with the force government delegation led by Antonio Tajani has been postponed to a later date.
jokes with boys

“Berlusconi came after lunch, around 2 pm, to see Milano 2, his creature. He was with Marta Fascina and he was a little more exhausted than usual but in a good mood. He didn’t have lunch, but he took ice lollies, more than one because he was hot, and he joked with some boys and with us”. This was told by Massimiliano, owner of a bar in Milan 2, a few hundred meters from the San Raffaele hospital. The visit of the leader of Forza Italia was also immortalized on social media by some young people present to whom Berlusconi said: “Guys, remember that I am always the most powerful man in Europe”.
The phone call with Salvini
—
The League also informs that there was a “phone call between Matteo Salvini and Silvio Berlusconi” during a break in the Open Arms trial underway in Palermo and that the minister is accused. The call “was the occasion for an affectionate greeting: Salvini asked for reassurance about the president’s health, the two also exchanged a couple of jokes about football”.

“We are always worried” about the health conditions of Silvio Berlusconi. “I have read comforting news, the statements of my colleague Tajani who knows more than me. It is an anticipation of routine checks, I hope he recovers as soon as possible ”. This is what Francesco Lollobrigida, minister of agriculture, food sovereignty and forests, said, commenting on the news of Berlusconi’s new hospitalization. The minister is in Manduria to participate in the Forum in Bruno Vespa’s Masseria.
Meloni’s phone call
—
This afternoon Giorgia Meloni called Berlusconi by telephone. During the conversation, the prime minister confirmed the health conditions of the president of Forza Italia. The occasion was useful to take stock of the most topical international dossiers, also in view of Meloni’s trip to Tunisia.
