Benda Motorcycle is a Chinese brand born in 1994 and owned by the group Zhejiang Changling Binjiang Motorcycle Co, which produces small and medium-sized motorcycles and scooters, including the Bobber BD300 that we tested.
At the Beijing show, held a few days ago, Benda brought a very interesting novelty: the Napoleon. It is a Bobber with a very particular and refined style, in some ways opulent, despite some quite obvious references to the Triumph Bobber.
The Napoleon is driven by a liquid-cooled 488 cc V-twin engine rated at 50 HP at 7,000 rpm, with a bore and stroke of 67 mm and 63.6 mm respectively, and a total weight of 190 kg.
At the front, the suspension is disguised with the intention of resembling a wishbone unit, but in reality it is a common upside-down fork. Same fate for the double rear shock absorbers, which receive the same treatment with plastic covers.
