Here comes the home race for the world champion team: the Superbike arrives at Misano for the fifth round of the season and the Aruba team presents itself as the undisputed leader, thanks to the domination of Alvaro Bautista, ready to confirm himself also in front of the Italian public. A home appointment for the other Ducati standard-bearer too, Michael Ruben Rinaldi is determined to do well after the great potential shown in Barcelona but left untapped due to bad luck.
The Spaniard arrives at Misano as leader of the championship, with 236 points and an advantage over the second (Toprak Razgatlioglu) of no less than 69 points. This season alone he boasts 11 victories in 12 races and is showing incredible form. Freshly renewed for another year with Ducati, Bautista is ready to charm the Italian public and enthusiasts by continuing to extend his lead in the championship.

“I’m very happy to arrive at Misano, the home of Ducati,” says Bautista on the eve of the race weekend. . We will try to get the most out of it, as we always do. Let’s hope the weather is good and I also hope it is for the fans so that they can have fun over the weekend.”
Ducati has also just returned from two days of testing carried out at Misano two weeks ago, in which it once again proved that it is the bike to beat. Positive sensations and lots of data to work with lead the team to go to their home round with great confidence. Michael Ruben Rinaldi has the same thought, aiming for a great result: “What can I say, Misano is a special track both for me and for the team. We have so many good memories at this circuit where I got my first win with the factory team. It’s a special race and the warmth of the fans makes this weekend even more unique. I’m happy, focused and ready to give my all.”
