The court case that plagued Armie Hammer has concluded. The actor will not have to face charges for sexual assault in the US.
Armie Hammer has been cleared of sexual assault charges. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office will not file sexual assault charges against the well-known actor. At least, according to a recent report published by the prestigious media outlet Variety. An actor who had been widely linked with the DC Extended Universe during the Zack Snyder era at Warner Bros. Pictures.
In a statement, the prosecutor’s office said that could not prove any of the rape allegations that were made against Armie Hammer. In part due to what has been described as the complexity of the relationship between the actor and his accuser. “In this case, prosecutors conducted an extremely thorough review, but determined that at this time, there is insufficient evidence to charge Mr. Hammer with a crime,” the office said. “As prosecutors, we have an ethical responsibility to only prosecute cases that we can prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Due to the complexity of the relationship and the inability to prove a forced, non-consensual sexual encounter, we cannot prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Las accusations against Armie Hammer They came to light in February 2021, when a person identified as Effie claimed that the actor had physically abused her in a four-year relationship. The woman also alleged that Hammer had raped her in 2017, something he has consistently denied. After the first accusations, several more appeared, joined by other women with their own accusations through social networks. These allegations also included accusations of being inappropriate, as well as Hammer’s alleged fetishes for cannibalism and some obscure BDSM-related hobbies.
